Poland has the following types of roads depending on the road owner: public national, provincial, county, municipal as well as private roads and within residential estates. If film shooting requires blocking a traffic lane or closing an intersection, contact Łódź Film Commission first; it will find out about the type of the road, entity responsible for it and will provide information about formalities to go through in order to obtain respective permission. As it takes some time to obtain such a permission to shoot, the Łódź Film Commission would appreciate being notified about projects planned as early as possible.
